Canel Frichet-Lombardo is an entrepreneur committed to innovation and social good. Canel holds a master’s degree with top honors from Paris ISC Business School. Fresh out, she led marketing for Caramail, the French Hotmail. When Bertelsmann acquired the company, 20-year-old Canel launched her own athletic footwear brand, Aeon.
By 26, Canel was appointed GM of Winamax, helping the young poker site become France’s top operator within two years. Her marketing brilliance earned accolades including “Marketing Personality of the Year”, “Best operator”, etc…
Beyond business, Canel champions social impact. She founded Casa Sonja to provide healing green spaces for abused youth in Costa Rica. Canel also supported and contributed operationally to La Ecovilla on their mission to develop sustainable living communities worldwide.
Raised in Paris, she is now a global citizen exploring the human relationship with nature – her passion.
Canel is happily married to fellow entrepreneur Sebastian Lombardo. As parents of three daughters, they embrace an intentional, joyful approach to life, travel and learning as a family. Canel represents the vanguard of values-driven business leadership.

Sebastian Lombardo is a serial entrepreneur driven by innovation and impact. His journey began at Apple, where he cultivated a passion for seamless user experiences. He later entered investment banking.
Since the early 2000s, Sebastian has founded, co-founded, and invested in over a dozen high-growth, purpose-led companies. He anticipates digital trends, then acts decisively to build profitable, long-term ventures – creating thousands of jobs along the way.
In 2010, Sebastian acquired the struggling French company Valtech for $40 million. As CEO, he transformed it into the world’s leading digital transformation agency and sold it ten years later for $1.4 billion—returning 30% annually to investors.
Today, Sebastian co-founded Smart Immune, a biotech company developing immunotherapies to combat disease. Inspired by his son’s cancer diagnosis, Sebastian is driven to find alternative treatments that transform patient outcomes.
Beyond business, Sebastian is devoted to his family. He enjoys classical music, chess, the outdoors, and spending time with his wife Canel and his four children.
Sebastian holds a master’s in finance and technology from Grenoble School of Management in France, where he graduated top of his class. Born in Argentina, he left at 16 to study in France on scholarship, setting himself on a new path defined by global ventures and social impact.
