Water for life

Building a future starts with education, but when every morning, you have to choose between walking for hours to get fresh water or going to school, there is no choice. Access to local water is not only key to survival but to long term growth of communities in Zululand. Local boreholes with direct access to water is key to providing access to a better future. For individuals, for the community and for wildlife.

It all starts with water

Water is life. Nothing grows without it. By adding boreholes with access to water, we are solving challenges on multiple levels. Firstly, children can prioritize school, instead of prioritizing to get water. Their future and the future of the community will benefit from this. Secondly, anyone in the community will be able to prioritize efforts non-related to getting water. This can be creating better infrastructure, building businesses or any other initiatives. Thirdly, and ultimately, when communities are thriving, there’s capacity for caring and preserving surrounding wildlife. This is only possible once basic needs are met. Preserving wildlife does not start from within. It starts from the outside. It starts with water.
