Real World School

Redefined learning with a project-based, personalized approach that empowers every student to thrive. Supported by state-of-the-art, proprietary technology, we track each child’s progress and help teachers design tailored educational programs.
The school’s curriculum integrates social-emotional development, built around seven core qualities: appreciation, authentic expression, dedication, curiosity, empathy, biocare, and awareness. It also fosters collaborative learning, preparing students for real-life challenges.
By connecting the international community within the local, we nurture global citizens attuned to their environment and humanity.

Real motivation

Ask a child to divide apples on a worksheet and watch their attention drift within seconds. Ask that same child to build something they care about, and mathematics becomes essential rather than assigned. At Real World School, every project is reverse-engineered to cover the curriculum while building an entrepreneurial spirit that no textbook can teach. The school combines the Costa Rican national curriculum with international benchmarks and standardised assessments, providing students with a strong academic foundation while preparing them for an international future.

Surrounded by a truly biodiverse environment, the campus exists in harmony with nature. It is the perfect classroom for holistic development, having a positive impact on academic results, attention restoration, stress-levels, and overall mental wellbeing. Rivers, forests, and local ecosystems are part of how students learn. Here, learning in nature is a regular part of school life and not simply an occasional field trip.

Simon Rodriguez, Director of Real World School, brings a decade of consultancy in innovative education projects to the role, along with a genuine gift for progressive methodology. His leadership makes the educational journey both enlightening and inspiring for the whole community.
